ESTIMATES
The initial retainer fee for services on each case will be from $500 to $1,000.00* (or more) depending on the nature of the case, and will be applied to time expended in service to you and time spent on your case. This fee is non-refundable. Additionally, each case will be charged in accordance with the signed contract provided and final fees received either from judgments or settlements. All fees are payable in advance unless other wise agreed in writing. A list of the estimated charges for my services is as follows:

Other details:
Travel, reproduction, and other expenses are in addition to the other fees charged and will be reimbursed. Expense payment will be made at the time incurred or in advance if travel is required or when the expenses exceeds $150.00
Travel and per diem is at the normal rate for the location to which I am to travel. Roundtrip mileage for personal vehicle use will be charged at a rate of thirty-four and a half cents (.345) per mile.
All contractual agreements are negotiable by both parties and can be supplemented per case or item. Each agreement is on a case by case basis. Additional Cost estimate specifics are as follows:
Hourly rate. Professional services for the representation by appearance at the Unemployment Insurance Hearing will be charged at the rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per billable hour; or
Daily rate. Professional services will be charged at a daily rate of five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per 8-hour day. This is per the agreement of both parties and only if the case activity extends to daily involvement.
Time increments. Billable time will be accounted for per the beginning of each hour, i.e., One minute into the hour constitutes payment for the full hour unless relieved and agreed by Consultant to waive.
Telephone consultations. Consulting services provided by telephone can be subject to a minimum billing charge of one-half hour.
Limit on monthly fees and services. While there is no predetermined maximum fee per calendar month, it is agreed that professional services by CONSULTANT will not be performed, nor billable hours charged, beyond an amount of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) per calendar month (including the minimum monthly retainer as established), without prior authorization from CLIENT.
Special rates. If CLIENT desires CONSULTANT’S services on longer-term assignments (e.g., tasks which require face to face representation, traveling or mediations), CONSULTANT agrees to negotiate a special rate and/or package price for such services.
If a Settlement Agreement is achieved, CONSULTANT will be paid 15% of the lump sum payment to CLIENT.
